Hello

In this guide, we'll learn how to install a datapack on your server.

First, you'll need to have the datapack you want to add. For this example, I will add the "Terralith" datapack, which makes Minecraft's default generation more beautiful and adds interesting biomes. You can find the datapack here : https://modrinth.com/datapack/terralith
Download the datapack onto your PC, ensuring it's in a .zip archive. Make sure the datapack version is compatible with your server version.

Second, you need to add the datapack to your server. Place it in the "datapacks" folder, located inside your world folder. You can access your server's files via SFTP using this guide : https://forum.minestrator.com/threads/minestrator-manage-your-server-with-winscp-or-filezilla.1814/
Open the "world" folder or the one named after your map, then drag the datapack into the "datapacks" folder. Wait for the transfer to complete.

Perfect, the datapack is now on your server. You can restart your server, and the datapack will be active. To verify if the datapack is active, use the command /datapack list. You can also manage your datapacks with the commands /datapack disable (to deactivate) and /datapack enable (to activate).

Note: If you use a generation datapack, it will only affect chunks that haven't been generated yet. If you want a new map generated by the server with the datapack, create the world folder, create a "datapacks" folder inside, then place the datapack there. Start the server with the map named after the folder you created.
